Rated PG this incredible true story is the perfect Thanksgiving movie for all the family!
Widowed morning-drive DJ Connor McCloud's (Angus Benfield) radio station has been sold and there is no longer a need for a morning drive DJ so he is let go. With two daughters (Emma Donovan-Mendenhall, Emma Bass) in high school, Connor must start looking for new employment immediately.
With good jobs few and far between, especially for a middle-aged DJ, he meets Ethan (Cameron Arnett), a believing homeless man who encourages him and after many failed job interviews, miraculously, the House of Hope, a busy homeless shelter, hires Connor to be their Procurement Director. His first assignment? To obtain 4,000 frozen turkeys for needy families on Thanksgiving Day, just one month away!
One thing is certain: he will require a miracle to pull this off.
Directed by Angus Benfield, and written by Steve Dini and E. Joren Christensen, Benfield shares, "The Great Turkey Town Miracle is a story about giving thanks for the little things, the big things and everything in between, and ultimately is a miraculous story about finding hope when all seems lost."
This fun family-friendly, faith-based movie, tackles the issues of loss, finding love, faith, searching for hope, (and 4000 turkeys) in a sweet light-hearted true story wrapped up in a genuine Thanksgiving miracle!
