During a blackout caused by a brutal storm, a group of strangers seeks refuge in an old, rundown motel. As the night unfolds, they uncover a crashed private prisoner transport van nearby. The driver and security personnel have been brutally killed, and the prisoner's distinctive clothes are left behind, indicating an escape and a change into civilian attire. With this grim discovery, the strangers realize one among them is an escaped convict and notorious serial killer. Now, trapped within the confines of the motel, suspicions run high as they must unravel the identity of the killer among them before becoming targets themselves.​
